I can start from anywhere but I will start from the middle in this case. I was told my Maryland HQL was revoked. What is an HQL? Handgun Qualification License. After doing what the State Trooper told me to do and did not work, I went onto google and searched an attorney who would even listen much less take the case on. I don’t know where to begin here. When a case becomes federal it requires very specific knowledge & reputation in order to have a fighting chance against the government. I switched from a state attorney to Murdoch and the professionalism difference was immediately felt. I called their firm and retained him post plea agreement, facing 37 months. While as a defendant, I complied with every request, it made it easier for Murdoch to do his job as an attorney in dealing with the government. My Dad was given a call by our local county sheriff’s office claiming that he was a suspect in a federal investigation with a gag order and had to self-surrender at our local county sheriff’s office.
